Implicit Hi Sandero owners!

Hello everybody,
Let me introduce myself, my name is Alexandre, I'm from Brazil and I bought a Sandero. This is a beauty and strong car!

It's 1.6l Flex Fuel, runs with Alcohool or Gasoline in any misture of two. Using ethanol my Sandero have 95 horsepower, I'm really happy with this car.

welcome among the romanian users of sandero!
one question: the car can run 100% on ethanol or it is necessary to have some gasoline?
how many kilometers do you have with the car? put some pictures with your car, if you have...to see the differences and of course, to comment them

Thank you for reply Seba!

I run 450 kilometers in Ethanol (E100) tank and 600 kilometers in Gas. tank. The size of tank is 50 litters. The price of gasoline litter here is 1 dolar and alcohol is 50 cents, so is much better use alcohol (and it's better to the mother nature)

The power of engine in alcohol is better too. In gasoline the performance is 90 HP and using alcohol is 95 HP. Because alcohol need more compression, and the engine adjust it in eletronic injection while you change the fuel.

Yes, you are right. There is a small gasoline compartment in engine to start the engine when you use alcoohol. The size is 3 litters and is enough for 3 to 6 month. But in the car tank you put only ethanol pure without gasoline. The problem is that ethanol is bad to start the engine in cold weather (above 10 degrees celsious). But in Brazil is quite always hot, so only cold regions like mine city needs gasoline compartment.

Sory the pictures are bad definition because I used cellphone
Here is some pictures:

The front of car, I was waiting the transist departament to build de license plates.

The back side.

Inside the car

The panel! That day there were only 189 km in total

Sandero English Corner

Use english, will you? And yes, all Brazilian Sandero's have the rear wiper starting position on the left, unlike the romanian ones.

@Alexandre Felipe Muller: the opulstory seems different in your car. I know it's a kind of nap, but is it time resistant?

look, there are several things different from Dacia Sandero to Renault Brazilian Sandero. The rear wiper as you said, and the rearview mirror, and the front finishing. The grade (front screen) of Dacia Sandero is better. I think those changes were made to normalize the Sandero to Renault Clio that is sold in Brazil like his little brother, while Clio is the initial segment of compact cars the Sandero is the second option. If you look to Clio all those changes are equal on it. Except the Sandero Stepway that is completely different from mine Sandero.

What is opulstory?

don't quote the last post of the thread, use "quick reply" instead. thanks

Renault front grille is the most beautiful in comparison with dacia.

It is more elegant

Every Brazilians automobile magazine's said that Renault front is old fashioned (they always try to critics the not traditional brazilian industry VW, FIAT, GM). I like the dacia front too, but I think the two is good.

Stefan:

The upholstery (I confess that I learned this word now) is more resistant than looks like. It's normal tissue (of course that I prefer leather, if my financial conditions were better)

In my car the doors finishing is plastic, and there is not airbag and abs...
The Dacia have those equipments, have not?

yes, dacia in romania has abs in standard version. it's a european union law and they have to obey. hopefully starting next year they will put also esp in standard. regarding side airbags, they can be ordered as optional equipment, but only on 2 versions, i think, laureate and prestige. i think you have the same versions, or...?

Actually the directive says 2011 will be the year ESP becomes mandatory. I find it difficult to believe that Dacia will be able to equip the current models with ESP. They'll get a derogation maybe.
The next generation of Logan II based models will certainly have ESP.

Maybe year 2011 will be the ear of New Logan 2 and later New Sandero.
There were some discussions about Logan being a little bit too old and the PH2 tried to refresh the model a little bit.
Anyway, back to Sandero, great car Alexandre Felipe Muller congratulations !
I was wondering about your CAR COMPUTER, does it shows the instant fuel consumption ?

For me it's okay, I prefer the holstery of my old Clio, but the sandero is nice too.

In South America the reallity is completely different. We only have nude cars! As the things are going, maybe in the future the engine will be optional and we will run like flinstones cars.

Its important to say that only the car drinks alcoohol. The driver doesn't

don't worry, in romania also it's "trendy" for the factory to give up some gadgets like pulse controled electric windows, lumbar adjustment of driver seat, anti-roll stabilizing bar on front axle...all this doesn't mean in no way that the price has gone down, by contrary, it rised. nice contry romania, eh?

We aren't so different. I paid 14500 U$ Dolars in my Nude Sandero. This year government had some free taxes because the economic crisis. Last year the price of same car was about 16k U$.
We see that doesn't matter how much quality the car goes, the price is always increasing. When Renault, Honda, Peugeot, Citroen and all came to Brazil the cars was the same price of today, but without alot of things. To enter in brazilian market they offered good enchments to theirs cars with the same price, as they conquered market they offered nude cars like others.

Cool to find a Brazilian here too!!! lol.

I had a Clio too, Sandero is a little bit noisier than Clio, guess is because internal finishing is poorer.

Anyway, I'm loving its stability and driving position, way better than was at Clio.
