Dacia Sandero

The Sandero will be built in Pitesti, Romania and will be available in most European countries starting in June 2008. The Sandero will also carry Dacia's three year/100,000 km warranty.

Available as a five-door hatchback, the Sandero's exterior has a modern look and features a stylish C-pillar — although its thickness probably hinders outward visibility. Laterally, the Sandero features an "upturned wave" design theme.

The interior of the Sandero is also new and can be ordered in a wide range of color and material combinations.

Under hood, the Sandero is available with a range of gasoline and diesel engines. For customers who prefer gas power, the Sandero offers a 1.4L making 75 horsepower and a 1.6L unit producing 90 horsepower. Diesel engine options include a 1.5L dCi with 70 horsepower and a 1.5L dCi good for 85 horsepower.

Well actually I don't really like it. But here are more pictures of it. I like the gray, sort of carbon-like one, more.

PS: it's kind of weird speaking English when all the current active members of this forum are Romanian. I hope some non-Romanian speakers will join soon.
